Role Responsibilities:

The candidate will ideally be from a DevOps/Cloud Engineering background.

• Candidate should have worked on extensively at least two projects in DevOps role.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum/SaFE delivery teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
• Proactive and analytical mindset.
• Enhance, Develop, and maintain an automated workflow for onboarding of new features and major changes into Production. 
• Continuous analysis of change related production issues and feedback bug fixes into application backlog for future sprints and releases. 
• Actively monitor and seek opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities, and products to the advancement of the organization. 
• Proactively building and implementing services to make IT and support better at their jobs. 
• Own process of tracking manual incidents and identifying means of automation, employing both strategic and short-term tactical solution. 
• Experience in reducing TOILs which refers to repetitive, constant and predictable tasks. 
• Monitor releases and successfully deploy into production. 
• Build tool to monitor the incidents/feed effectively and work with leads to define Service level agreement and Service level objective.  
• Maintain NFR standards, baseline numbers and infra requirement. 
• Identify work items for optimizing the SDLC controls to improve service reliability. 
• Identify & communicate risks associated with new features and major changes into Production.  
• Experience in documenting the processes and knowledge. 

Experience/Exposure:

• Overall 8+ years of IT experience. 
• 5+ Years of building software and system while managing application/platform infrastructure. 
• Working Exp. of change management/production/operation, and incident tracking tools (i.e., Remedy, Heat, ServiceNow etc.). 
• Exposure to writing scripts in any scripting language (Bash/Python/PowerShell). 
• In-depth knowledge of any version control tool (such as Git,GitHub). 
• In-depth knowledge of any one of APM tools such as Grafana/New Relic/Prometheus’s/ 
• Exposure to Infrastructure code as service such as Terraform. 
• Experience with container and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) 
• Experience with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues 
• Exposure to build and deployment over public cloud using GITHUB action and troubleshoot issues around it. 
• Experience working or familiarity with one public cloud (AWS, Google or Azure) 
• Exposure to any one of relational database. 
• Good analytical, troubleshooting-solving and communication skills. 

Good to Have 

Global Transaction Banking / Corporate and Investment Banking Experience is a plus. 

Education/Certification 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work experience or diploma) 
• ITIL Foundation Certificate. 
• Any cloud specific certification – Azure/GCP/AWS etc
