Emotion Detection from the Human Face
Emotion recognition from a live camera or a video
A person sits in front of a camera, or you already have a video. The tool names the emotion on each face and keeps a record you can open later.
What it does
- Reads each face about once a second and shows the strongest emotion on the picture, with a score for that reading.
- Keeps faces separate when more than one person is in the frame.
- Uses plain labels such as love, laughter, anger, fear, wonder or surprise, and peace or tranquility. If another reading fits better, it keeps that name.
- Saves the time, the face, the emotion, and the score for every reading.
- Builds a report when the session ends: how many readings, which emotion showed up most, charts over time, and a table of each reading. The same report downloads as Excel.
- If a moment has no clear face, it skips that moment and keeps going. The session stays up.
How it works
- You start a live camera, or you hand over one or more videos.
- The tool looks at each face and names the emotion it sees.
- It stores each reading with the time, then writes a report you can open in a browser or in Excel.
Where it fits
- A live session, with the person in front of the camera.
- A video you already recorded and want to review.
- Several videos in one report.
- Your own team, reading the report after the session.
