The candidate will handle daily IT issues, basic network troubleshooting, system setup, and coordination with vendors when required. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in IT support within a corporate environment. |
| Job Description (Tasks to be performed during job role) | |
| End-User Support: Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. System Setup: Install and configure Windows 10/11 systems, standard software, and antivirus tools. Email & Connectivity Support: Troubleshoot issues related to Outlook, Microsoft 365, Gmail, VPN, Wi-Fi, and LAN connectivity. Remote Support: Provide remote assistance using tools such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or Remote Desktop (RDP). User Account Management: Handle password resets and basic user account issues using Active Directory or Microsoft 365. IT Operations Support: Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop allocation and access provisioning. Asset Management: Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs when required. Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor internet connectivity and escalate issues to the L2 team or ISP when necessary. Documentation & Reporting: Update helpdesk tickets, maintain issue logs, and ensure proper documentation of IT support activities.Compliance: Follow IT security policies and assist in providing required data during internal or external audits. | |
| Qualifications and Skills required: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in IT Support or Desktop Support. Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP), and Active Directory. Experience with Outlook, Microsoft 365, or Gmail troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and connectivity issues. Experience with remote support tools such as Any Desk, TeamViewer, or RDP.
