1. Managing VMware vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN environments.
2. Managing failover procedures for Data Center and Disaster Recovery environments while maintaining VMware virtual infrastructure including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
3. Ensure all software security updates (Patch management).
4. Manage Hyper-Converged Infrastructure for critical government applications, conducting failover tests and implementing backup solutions for seamless operations and data protection.
5. Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of VMware infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
6. Possess in-depth knowledge and practical experience in administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
7. Manage system updates, patches, and security configurations to uphold the integrity and security of RHEL servers.
8. Manage the server through Idrac and Ilo including installation, configuration, and maintenance activities, adhering to Defence standards and regulations.
9. Hands-on experience with Dell and HPE SAN storage solutions, including storage provisioning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity and availability.
10. . Implement and manage various security products as per organization
11. Oversee Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments, managing compute, storage, and networking components to support critical government applications and services.
12. Installation of entire hardware with OEM guidelines
13. To manage various vendors/ OEMs whose equipment is deployed in Organization to always achieve the desired availability of equipment and services. It includes maintaining database of vendors, contacting the required vendor on occurrence of any fault/ isolation of a problem/ requirement of any service, follow up with vendor to ensure problem resolution, call closure, relevant documentation, maintenance of data base, generation of vendor performance report and putting up the same for the information to the Authority quarterly.

Requirements-

• Education: BE / BTech / Diploma in Computer Hardware – Repairs & Maintenance/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Should have a minimum experience of 2.5 years.
• RHCSA and VMware certification will be added advantage.
• VM Ware and RHEL Experience, to be supported by appropriate certificates.
• Should be willing to work for 6 days a week.
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Candidate should be punctual and have excellent time management skills.
• Experience of having worked with Indian Government organizations/PSU will be an added advantage.
• Police verification will be mandatory at the time of joining.
