Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing features on Android and iOS devices.
Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

· Able to write mobile automation test script in Appium with java or any language.

Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using a bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira), ensuring clear, concise, and reproducible steps.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand product requirements and ensure all features are implemented correctly.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues that may be missed by formal test cases.
Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand -ups, and retrospectives, to provide feedback and contribute to process improvements.
Manage testing on various mobile devices, OS versions, and screen sizes to ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
Should be able test rest APIs, able to do defect triage and understand the RCA.

Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in manual software quality assurance, with a strong focus on Android and iOS mobile applications.
Domain Expertise: Proven experience working in the fintech or financial markets domain.
Testing Methodologies: Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), software testing life cycles (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong experience in automation using Java + Appium (Java/any language) for mobile testing.
- Experience with Maven ,CI/CD tools like Jenkins and integrating automated test suites
- Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Strong Experience with API testing and API automation with Rest Assured.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Familiarity with mobile testing concepts, including network conditions, battery usage, and push notifications.
- Good to have Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report bugs and collaborate with a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
