Job Description:

• Provide day-to-day support for LIMS users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
• Monitor LIMS performance and ensure system uptime and reliability.
• Assist in the configuration, customization, and optimization of the LIMS to meet business user needs.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to identify and implement enhancements and upgrades
• Maintain and update LIMS documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions for new users and refresher courses for existing users.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, GLP).
• Assist in the validation and testing of LIMS updates and new features.
• Respond to and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with vendors and external support teams as necessary
• Travel multiple plants as and when required. Shall be available to work in shifts to ensure support to end users

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in LIMS support or a similar role in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and data management.
• Proficiency in LIMS software (e.g., Caliber, LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP, GLP)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and their integration with LIMS.
• Experience of working in support team for LIMS (preferably Caliber LIMS) shall be preferred.
• Flexible to work during and post working hours as well as during holidays if required.
