Job Description:
- Build, develop and manage a team of Business Development Executives within the territory.
- Drive product, services and solution sales in the assigned territory of captive and new accounts, through structured account planning, incumbency plotting and a comprehensive pursuit action plan.
- Work with new and existing customers to identify their existing infrastructure, requirements/problem areas so as to determine the correct product, technical specifications/solutions and bill of material to be pitched as per the customers’ requirements.
- Maintain impeccable commitment and discipline to achieve assigned business targets of booking, revenue and profitability.
- Actively participate in client service delivery reviews to upsell/cross sell products, services and solutions.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance and effectively answer technical and functional queries of the client on the products and services.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new technologies, new markets and customer needs.
- Drafting the commercial aspects and bill of material for RFP’S & Tenders.
- To structure and produce sales proposals, quotations and technical documentation along with solution diagrams where required, outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients.
- Designing feasible solutions and pitching the appropriate technology in coordination with the pre-sales team and as per customer requirement.
- Appear for OEM certification exams and attain certifications for different products and technologies. (Minimum 1 certification every month.)
- Responsible for getting payments within timeframes.
- Ensure cross functional coordination to complete projects within the set timelines.
- Establish and maintain relations with various teams and members of OEM’S and Distributors.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics/ Computers / IT from a recognized University.
- 2-4 years’ experience in sales team handling.
- 4-6 years’ work experience in IT hardware sales, (products such as Server, Storage, Firewall, Backup appliance, Network Switches also Laptops, Desktops, Thin clients, workstations & Printers) software sales (products such as Operating Systems, Virtualization Software, Database management software, Antivirus & security applications) and IT Services.
- Demonstrable record of leading complex sales.
- Strong communication and objection handling skills.
- Strong presentation skills in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills (mock presentation/letter/document writing to be part of the hiring process)
- Pleasing and affable personality.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
- Should be able to verbally communicate in Hindi • Communications skills in (Marathi for Pune Location) will be an added advantage
- Willingness to be flexible in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial, dynamic environment.
- Travel within India as and when required.
- Experience of having worked with Indian Government organizations/PSU will be an added advantage.
- Candidate should be able to work as an individual as well as part of a team.
- Candidate should be passionate to work in challenging environments.
- Candidate should be punctual and have excellent time management skills.
