Qualification & Experience : The minimum requirement for this professional position is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems and with relevant experience.
Experience: 14+ Years with at least 10 years in eCommerce domain.

Key Responsibility:

Automation – Work closely with Operations teams to identify, quantify and deliver automation opportunities within existing products, services, and workflows

Development – Work closely with sales and business to effectively leverage tech and build new products, services

Innovation – Understand new tech and ecommerce trends, build POCs, identify automation and product dev opportunities

Delivery – Improve delivery timelines and quality, get team to become more data-driven, implement best practices, improve communication, and build a high-performing team.

Leadership – Aggressively collaborate with operations and business teams to use tech to grow the eCommerce business, effectively represent eCommerce Tech to the larger Lumina organization.

Mandatory

• Experience in Retail Domain
• Tech savvy, hands-on, experience building retail operations tools
• Experience in retail innovations (automatic product tagging, AI/ML pricing intelligence, Order Analytics, etc.)
• Experience with Open-source technologies, building large scale systems, dealing with large data sets, exp, cloud (AWS, etc.…)
• Architecture and design experience
• Strong Development expertise
• Excellent communications
• Analytical and detail driven
• Highly responsive, proactive, takes ownership
  
  Preferred Tech Skills
• Java, Python, PHP (Laravel exp a plus), WooCommerce, WP, Salsify
• Mongo, MS SQL, Cassandra
• Apache, Tomcat, Zookeeper, Redis, Kafka
• PowerBI, Tableau, ETL
• AWS, Azure, GCP, serverless, CICD
• AI, ML, NLP, Comp Vision, Reporting/BI
  
  Preferred eCommerce Skills
• Understanding of basic concepts/modules – PLP, PDP, search, OMS, cart checkout, PIM etc.…
• Exposure to one or more platforms (ATG, Hybris, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.…)
• Understanding of catalog and data management – SKUs, facets, ASINs
• Exposure to Retail Analytics (Salsify, Tableau, PowerBI) a plus
