Location – Banglore

Scope of work:

• Analyze the functionality and interfaces of the current CIF service working from existing documentation (to be discovered by searching several Wikis, some input/interaction possible, but do not expect a complete spec) as well as by analysis of existing code . This includes the interfaces for making the reconstructed and processed images available to HCA.
• Create architectural concept, align concept with the Home Connect architects
• Implement and functionally test new version
• Create Docker file
• Integrate new CIF service into existing continuous integration and deployment infrastructure (Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Cloud Foundry CLI)
• Create load test setup for CIF service, load test the service
• Provide input for End to End Load Testing team on how to include new CIF service into load test environment and enable appliance simulators to deliver image fragments
• Create an operations concept
• Show ways for practice the operation.

Required skills:

• Work experience on  Java (features of JDK8 and up) incl. functional programming (lambdas, higher order functions, ….), reactive streams
• Work experience  on creating Docker images or Docker file .
• Work experience on creating end points for their application .
• Willing  to learn at least Akka and Scala Basis / would be an advantage if they have basic knowledge on Akka or Scala
• Willing to learn some computer vision / image processing basics (best case knowledge is available)
• Self-confident working style
• Knowledge in CICD(Bit bucket , Bamboo , Jenkins and Artifactory)
• Knowledge and experience in agile working methods and teams
• Excellent English
• Ability to discuss solutions with long experienced architects and senior developers

Ability and willingness to build up solutions based on reverse engineering and rough documentation
